1. Definitions

These Terms of Service govern the use of Deep Serena®, an AI-powered software platform operated by Serena.Tech.

The Platform provides decision-support tools for deeptech innovation.

"User" refers to any individual or entity accessing the Platform. "Services" refers to all functionalities made available. "AI Outputs" designate content generated by artificial intelligence systems. "Customer Data" includes all data submitted or generated by Users. "Personal Data" is defined under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, the User confirms having read and accepted these Terms.

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between the User and Serena.Tech.

3. Description of Services

Deep Serena® provides AI-assisted tools supporting scientific founders and researchers in structuring and scaling deeptech ventures.

The Platform is strictly a decision-support system and does not provide professional advice.

No guarantee of outcome is provided.

4. AI and Regulatory Framework

The Platform integrates artificial intelligence systems subject to applicable European regulations, including the AI Act.

These systems operate under a risk-based framework and require human oversight.

5. Data Ownership

Users retain full ownership of their data, research, and intellectual property.

Serena.Tech retains ownership of the Platform and its underlying technologies.

6. Liability

The Platform is provided "as is."

Serena.Tech shall not be liable for decisions taken based on AI Outputs.

Liability is limited to the amount paid by the User over the previous 12 months.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law.

Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.
